Cindy was born in Alabama and raised in the St. Louis area, where she graduated from McClure High School in 1972. She began her college career at the University of Missouri - St. Louis, and was then accepted into the Dental Hygiene program at Forest Park Community College.Read More
Since she became a board-certified dental hygienist in 1980, Cindy has worked in various private practices and has participated in the local Give Kids a Smile charity. She enjoys the patient interaction that dentistry affords and cherishes the friendships that she has developed in her over 20 years with Chesterfield Woodlake Dental. She takes pride in educating her patients and helping them achieve optimum oral health.
Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending time with her two sons and three grandchildren, as well as quilting, designing, gardening, and cooking. She uses her creative quilting talents to support local, charitable organizations.
Deborah is originally from Detroit, Michigan and has been a part of the practice since 2017. As a child and teenager, Deborah had a keen interest in healthcare. Her childhood dentist’s friendly chairside manner and expertise further inspired her to pursue an occupation in dentistry.Read More
Deborah obtained her Associates in Applied Sciences from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan and graduated from the dental hygiene program in 2002. She began her career as a registered dental hygienist in a periodontal practice and has been committed to helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral hygiene ever since. Currently, Deborah has a total of 16 years of diverse experience in her field. She remains eager and earnest about educating and assisting her patients along the road of good health!
When Deborah is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter. She also likes to travel, play tennis, and run in her free time. Lastly, Deborah has been an enthused volunteer for the Give Kids a Smile charity, here in the St. Louis area.
Kristen was born in St. Louis, grew up in Spanish Lake and currently lives in O’Fallon, Missouri. Upon graduating from Timberland High School in 2012, Kristen was accepted into the Healthcare Administration program at the University of Phoenix. The flexible, online program allowed her to remain in St. Louis and work full-time. Although dentistry was not on Kristen’s list of potential job markets, she accepted a position in a dental office, as a patient care coordinator, after completing the Healthcare Administration program. Chesterfield Woodlake Dental is a place where Kristen’s polished, healthcare administrative skills are greatly utilized, but also a place where she can connect with our patients and offer great, personalized service. Whether scheduling appointments, answering insurance questions, submitting insurance claims, or listening to a patient’s dental concerns, she is ready to make each patient’s dental visit to our office a rewarding experience.
When she is not in the office, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and boyfriend. Watching movies and playing board games with friends is also a favorite pastime, and Kristen’s two dogs (Penny and Leya) hold a special place in her heart.
Megan is a dental assistant, originally from Arnold, Missouri, where she attended Fox High School. In 2012, she began working as a dental assistant for her childhood dentist, after attending classes at Anthem College. She joined Dr. Andrew Bruening’s dental team in March of 2016 and since then has become certified in Laughing Gas administration as well as chair-side Expanded Functions.Read More
Megan’s favorite aspects of her job include working with people, talking to patients, and accomplishing in-house, lab-related tasks. In 2018, she attended a two-day course in Beverly Hills, CA, where she learned the ins and outs of utilizing 3D dental technology in order to capture images and design dental models and appliances.
In her free time, Megan loves going out to her family’s 100-acre property in Annapolis, MO and spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, off-roading, camping and shooting guns. Although she doesn’t have children, Megan has quite a few mouths to feed. Her fur-babies include 4 dogs, 6 chickens, 2 ducks and a rabbit!
Stephanie is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who states she “loves every aspect” of her career! She grew up in St. Charles County and currently resides in St. Louis. She graduated from Forest Park Community College’s dental assisting program in 2004 and has been assisting ever since.Read More
In addition to holding an expanded functions certification, Stephanie is certified to administer laughing gas for patients. She appreciates having a career which allows her to invest in the lives of others, and looks forward to helping many more patients attain and maintain a healthy smile, in years to come.
Outside of our practice and working with our patients, Stephanie volunteers and gives back to her community. She also enjoys hanging-out with her two daughters, spending time in the great outdoors, and reading. She has a soft spot for animals, and the German Shepherd is one of her favorite dog breeds.
Lisa is originally from the South County area where she attended Affton High School. She now resides with her husband in St. Peters, Missouri. In 2010, Lisa graduated from Lindenwood University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. After teaching for four years, Lisa decided to make a career change and attended Missouri College for Dental Assisting. Upon graduating, she began working as an oral surgery assistant and eventually joined the practice of Dr. Andrew Bruening in July of 2016.Read More
Lisa has certifications in Nitrous Oxide administration and chair-side Expanded Functions. Lisa loves getting to know all of our patients and thoroughly enjoys building relationships with them. She and her husband have two dogs, Gus and Valkyrie, and one cat, named Link.
Lisa enjoys taking her dogs on walks and playing with them in their backyard. Outside of her busy work schedule, she likes to be outdoors, going on float trips and camping, along with keeping a steady workout regimen and hanging out with friends and family.
